I received my PhD in Medical Microbiology and came to USU to initially direct the Clinical Laboratory Medicine Program. After that program was discontinued I switched to teaching a LARGE variety of undergraduate biology classes. I enjoy teaching serious college students and have no intention of retiring.

Teaching Interests

My teaching interests focus is on the human body. I am greatly interested in its form and function and how both can be disrupted by disease and trauma. I also teach a class in medical and environmental ethics.
